Food:  Grass, wild fruits and flowers

Size:  1.5 to 3 feet at the shoulders
            55 to 100 pounds

Axis Deer Trivia:

  • Axis deer live in herds of up to 100 or more deer.

  • This type of deer are strong swimmers.

  • Leopards, wild dogs and pythons prey on the Axis Deer.
