Pygmy Goat Trivia:

  • The first Pygmy Goats were imported into the United States in 1959.  
  • Most Pygmy Goats are raised as pets.
  • Pygmy Goats love to be with people and other animals.
  • Wild Pygmy Goats were originally found in West Africa and were called Cameroon Dwarf Goats.
  • Pygmy Goats can be mischievous if bored.  They are able to escape fences by jumping, climbing or even unlatching a gate.  They will also chew on objects if they are not otherwise occupied.
