- Marmosets live in groups of 3 to 8 or more.
- Marmosets come in several different species.
- The talkers of the South American jungles are another
name for Marmosets and Tamarins.
- Marmosets converse in bird-like chirps and
trills. They also use facial expressions to convey their feelings.
The exotic pet trade has posed a big threat to the remaining Marmosets and Tamarins. Importing these primates from the wild is now illegal.
