Home:  near water in the desert canyon forests of the southwestern United States (Arizona, New Mexico, Texas) to Argentina

Food:  Earthworms, termites, snails, lizards, snakes, mice, fruits, roots, nuts and eggs

Size (length with tail & weight):  30 to 55 inches long
                                                            10 to 25 pounds

Coati Munde Trivia:

  • These noisy little critters love to eat.

  • Coati Munde live in colonies of up to 20 members.

  • The Coati Munde colonies are led by females.

  • Their tails can grow to be 2 feet long.
