Did
the website help find your pet/pet's owner? . . .
Thanks
again for your help this weekend. We got a call from the
little Schnauzer's owner last night and she went home to sleep
in her own
bed!!! Kim
Yes--she was in TLAC for four days. She was reclaimed the day
after she was posted on this site.
It
was great! We got our dog back the next morning!
Yes,
Although I was able to place the dogs with my inlaws, your
site was very helpful. I was able to gather useful information
and the listing generated two phone calls and a call from
the Austin Aussie Rescue group. I am pleased to see sites
like this exist and will try to support your effort with a
small donation as soon as possible. Your work is greatly appreciated.
Teresa
We got several calls but none were for him. We decided to adopt
him ourselves
(he's sitting in my lap purring even as I type). Your web site
made me confident
that I'm not stealing a pet that someone was desperately seeking.
I
found my dogs at the Town Lake Animal Shelter. However, the
steps to find them were taken from your advice from the LOST
PET packet. I appreciate it.
Yes.
I found some information on finding a missing cat. Thank You!
your
site has been helpful in retrieving my wife's dog before.
Yes!
It helped us find Scooby right away! Thank you for your service.
Not specifically for this dog, but it did help me find my
other dog =)
We
lost our dog Oct. 6, I listed it on your web site on Oct.
9 and received a phone call Oct. 10 from someone who thought
maybe she had our dog, but it was just so far away from home
we didn't want to get our hopes up but sure enough it was
him. We had distributed flyers in our neighborhood and maybe
a couple adjacent and put an ad in the paper but it was your
site that helped us find him. Thanks go out to you and especially
to Angela (she knows who she is) who found our Pork Chop.
She was so wonderful and would not even accept the reward
offered. We are forever in her debt.
Our
two dogs got out on Sunday 10/8 and we couldn't find them.
When I called around to the animal shelters on Monday, one
suggested that I look on your website. I immediately recognized
a Found ad posted and called. Sure enough, they had found
Scooby! We haven't found Sonic yet, but I posted a Lost ad
on your website and I'll keep checking daily to see if someone
posts a Found ad. Your website has been very helpful and convenient.
Thank you!
A
terrier mix was helped on her way home by your website.
Yes.
I was at the Williamson County Humane Society when I saw a
pet which was listed on your website. I e-mailed the owner
to let her know he was there. I also appreciated all the helpful
phone numbers for the Humane Societies, Animal Control in
local cities, etc. It sure helped me know who to call. Otherwise,
I many not have contacted Austin.
This
time my posters worked but the last time I found a black lab
and put up posters and listed on this site and after getting
no response I looked back on your January thru March dates
and contacted a few people and luckily one of them was the
owner, months later. happy ending!
Yes!-
My dog was found seven months later! The lady who found her
searched your recent listings with no success, and then went
back and searched the listings from Jan-Mar 2000 where she
found my listing. I have no idea where my dog was for seven
months, but I'm glad to have her back.
I
received a call from a person who had found my dog nearly
five miles from where I lost her in a car wreck. She
is now safe at home thanks to your site. My entire family
thanks you so much for this wonderful service!
This
is an absolutely GREAT web site !!! Many thanx
to everyone who contributes to it and monitors it !!!
We
found our Gracie tonight at about 9:30 PM several miles from
home. She was missing for three weeks and four days.
Kim & Lynne read this listing and called us. WE
ARE SO GRATEFUL!! Signs, flyers, newspaper ads and countless
visits to the pound did not bring her back home, but your
service reunited us with our dog! I can't wait until
our children discover that she has come home to us when they
wake up tomorrow morning. It will be like Christmas
in August! Thanks again!

All Happy.................Thanks
Your
site was very helpful in that it gave tips for me to follow
- vet numbers, SPCA numbers, etc. As I was posting signs
for "FOUND - HUGE BROWN DOG", I found a sign that
said "LOST - BLOODHOUND" that had been posted that
very afternoon. "Trusty" has been returned
to her family!! It was truly a happy ending!!
My
dog was found in Manor, TX. A very nice lady called me on
Monday 8/1/00
and told me she had her. I was so happy to get her back. Thank
you for all
you've done to help.
Very
helpful! Jake was turned in the following day to the
Town Lake Animal Shelter. The website got me out of
a panic attack and gave me the resources to search more effectively.
Thank you!
It
did not directly lead to location of my dog, but I found the
advice very helpful, especially on how to create the lost
poster. I wish I would have consulted the site earlier.
Medium
dog found. Long black hair with some gray. Found in Cypress
Bendon Heather Drive in Cedar Park. Had Williamson County
Humane Society and Lakeline Animal Clinic tags on it, but
no owner information. Since I found the dog on a Sunday, I
was not able to contact the Humane Society. Fortunately, Lakeline
Animal Clinic was open on Sunday from 5:30-6:30p.m. and they
gave me the owner's name and phone number. I immediately contacted
the owner who was re-united with her dog on Sunday evening.
Thank you for having this site.
Help:
Yes. I think that the Williamson County Humane Society must
have been contacted about my listing with you, because they
called me Monday, July 10 to inquire about the dog. Fortunately,
I had good news for them!

her from pound on the 3rd day and found us thru this site!
Help:
Thank you so much for having this available to us. It
was very helpful! Our cat was caught in a fence and
someone found her and took her to pound. Her leg was not broken
but cut off blood supply to her foot and it looks bad but
she is using it. A lady thought she was her cat and got her
out of pound.
Owner
of (the two) dogs found me here and I was able to return them.

was hit by a truck and we rescued him. He had no residual
problems from the accident and had the greatest personality.
Someone saw your site, told a friend who was looking for an
adult Chihuahua... and this little guy now has the most loving
new home. It was a convenient way for me to notify people
and an easy way for the adopting family to find exactly the
dog they wanted. Thank you so much for this service!!

Yes, Samantha's new owner found her through your site.

Absolutely-The
most wonderful couple rescued Zoe from the middle of 360 with
cars speeding past. They lovingly took her home and posted
a "found" notice on your site where I had also posted
a "lost" notice. They read my notice and called
me to see if they might have my dog. Amazingly enough it was
Zoe! They were truly her guardian angels. Thank you.

The Town Lake Animal Center later picked him up in South Austin
